Bevelle's Prison is actually worse than an FFVIII prison. Think about that for a moment. X managed to do something stupider than VIII. (At least in VIII they took away their weapons and even had a purpose for keeping them alive whilst the Bevelle prison seems to be set up like a gameshow jail presumably full of hidden spheres recording the prisoners escaping. "Our contestants have nothing but their inventory, their weapons, their abilities and a few save points. WILL THEY MAKE IT OUT ALIVE!? STAY TUNED!")

Also I just noticed that Yunalesca's bra seems to have a lot of metal wiring to make that snake/dragon pattern and all I can think is "OW". You know I wouldn't be surprised if that's why she's let this whole BS go on for 1000 years because she's just too distracted by how painful that brassiere is to care about the thousands of lives she's wrecking.

I was so confused by the Dark Aeons when I first played - largely because I didn't know to expect them there but also because most online walkthroughs were American and the Dark Aeons were a European addition so I ended up accidentally dying SO MANY TIMES. SO MANY. Those party wipes. Those glorious unexpected party wipes. My poor younger self was such an eager little JRPG explorer. So many tears of blood. Good times. Good times.
