Yeah, that only confounds things even more, since I seem to recall from - I can't remember which game - that Zanarkand tended to use summoners a lot for fighting wars, so I guess it's possible they had people sacrifice themselves to become fayth for that... none of the fayth we ever see are from before Sin and they disappear once Sin does. (... and lol, one of the things that ALWAYS bothered me about X-2 was the fiends. So should fiends even still be there since summoners are gone? Does everyone become a fiend now that no one can preform sendings?) I almost think that FFX would've been one of my favorite FF games since there's so much do they do right, and the amount of worldbuilding is amazing, but then... can't get over the lack of answers and some of the less sensible plot points. And Seymour. XD
Amusingly, the faces didn't look strange at all during the cutscene itself, but it ended up coming out like when people just take photos at the wrong time and people are sneezing or closing their eyes lol
haha yeah, maybe put the warning sign in the area BEFORE the giant sandworms that want to eat us? XD
Yeah, I wanted to imitate Chef and go "DON'T YOUR PARENTS TEACH YOU ANYTHING?!" ... assuming he has any present parents, lol, but if they're going to go on the pilgrimage, you'd expect them to not leave out that detail, especially to avoid some random person telling them at the wrong time. I can understand not telling children a little more, but then I don't see how people don't just find it out while generally journeying, as you'd expect people to commonly say things like "Braska was so great, sacrificing himself for the rest of us" and all...
Thank you! They're actually pretty fun to do since I have to focus more on little details, like I probably would've completely forgot about the previous underwater city if I weren't doing these.
